Dear congregation of St George’s church, peace and grace of our Lord be with you during the Holy Lent.
We ask if any member of the congregation is in financial need or any other need during this time to contact one of the church priests and the church will fulfil the need by the grace of God.
At this time the church faces challenges in service and in finance and it is important to stay united so the church will resume its’ service stronger when allowed.
The committee of the church asks you to continue donating your tithes, vows and offerings to the church as you used to, to support the church in paying the bills of electricity, gas, water, insurance and other commitments (which totals over $60000 monthly) through the direct debit from your bank account to the church account by filling in the attached form and sending it to the church’s treasurer Ihab Girgis.
We ask you to pray fervently to the Lord to lift the pandemic, high cost of living and open the churches’ door to offer sacrifices of thanksgiving and the Body and the Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.

شعب كنيسة مارجرجس المبارك،
سلام ونعمة الله تكون معكم في هذا الصيام المقدس.
في هذه الأيام المقدسة نطلب من الله ان يقبل صلواتنا وطلباتنا واعترافنا وصومنا لكيما يكون مقبولًا أمام عرشه رائحة بخور عطرة.
نرجو منكم ان كان هناك أي احتياج مالي او احتياج اخر، لاحد الإخوة في هذه الظروف الصعبة الاتصال بأحد كهنة الكنيسة وسوف يتم إيفاء الاحتياج من الكنيسة بنعمة ربنا.
في هذه الفترة تواجه الكنيسة تحديات في الخدمة وايضاً تحديات مالية ومن المهم ان نستمر متحدين لكيما تستطيع الكنيسة ان تعاود خدمتها بقوة بعد السماح لها.
من هنا تناشد اللجنة شعب الكنيسة استمرارية العطاء من عشور ونذور وبكور كما تعودتم لمساعدة الكنيسة في تسديد احتياجاتها المادية من قسط البنك وفواتير كهرباء ومياه وغاز وخلافه، (علماً ان المصاريف الشهرية للكنيسة تبلغ اكثر من ٦٠ الف دولار) وذلك بالتبرع عن طريق الخصم المباشر من حسابكم البنكي لحساب الكنيسة البنكي ومرفق مع هذا الخطاب استمارة نرجو منكم ملء الاستمارة وإرسالها الي أمين الصندوق إيهاب جرجس وبواسطتها يتم الخصم المباشر.
نرجو ان تصلوا جميعًا بحرارة من ان ينظر الله بعين الرحمة للعالم ويرفع عنا الوباء والغلاء ويفتح أبواب الكنائس لتقدمة ذبيحة الشكر وجسد ودم ابنه الوحيد يسوع المسيح ربنا.
